Matty Harris earned BFA and MFA degrees at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where he studied with jazz and avant-garde legends Vinny Golia, Wadada Leo Smith, Charlie Haden and Susan Allen.  Matty performs on a dozen different woodwinds and is awaiting the release of his first album as bandleader, DOUBLE SEPTET.
